Flowy Noise
This course is designed to teach you everything you need to know about fluid movement in Processing.
In this course, you'll learn how to produce artwork resembling organic textures and analog compositions. Many generative artists use the basic noise function, but adding your own touch or building layers of imagery with varied parameters can make it unique to you. You'll start by dissecting the noise function and understanding its parameters and multidimensionality. And then, you'll explore the possibilities of the function's application, creating many artworks that will get you excited about the prospects of generative art.
Prerequisite: Some programming experience in any other language will facilitate navigating this course. Taking either "Intro to Generative Art in Processing" or "Back to the Basics" course is recommended to understand the Processing IDE specifically and creative coding in general.
Course duration — 1 hour, 46 minutes
You'll learn the basics of the noise function to start playing with flow fields.
